Hi, I’m Damon — the locksmith behind Lockdown Locksmith. I’m a local, independent locksmith based in Stalybridge, providing residential and commercial locksmith services across Tameside and Greater Manchester.

I grew up locally and have strong roots in Tameside, so this isn’t an area I’ve simply chosen for advertising — it’s home. Before becoming a locksmith, I served in the British Army and later worked in the NHS, experiences that taught me the importance of reliability, professionalism and treating people with respect.

Before becoming a locksmith, I worked in both the NHS and the British Army, so I understand the importance of professionalism, discretion, and respect — especially when dealing with people in stressful situations like lockouts or security issues.

I provide both residential and commercial locksmith services, from lockouts, lock repairs and lock changes to uPVC and composite door problems, anti-snap security upgrades and landlord work. I’ll always explain the options clearly before carrying out any work.
